We are so excited to enjoy some amazing gifts of custom bedding and window treatments in our new home. Suzette Waters, owner of Bumper Crop Baby, has transfered her love for her children and design into a successful custom design business. We are so pleased to have her great attention to detail throughout our home. Each piece is lovingly handmade in her Columbia, MO studio. I think our children love these products so much because each piece is surrounded by joy and laughter while it is being made.
Califonia Closets
California Closets has offered to outfit our closets at a greatly discounted price. Their closet system will work great at our home because of the flexibility of their product. Sam will have all of his clothes in the lower portions of their system and mine will be higher. This will also work great for the girls as they grow. We are so excited to welcome them into our house to hold our clothes for years to come!
Coyle Carpet One
When we were working on making our old home more accessible for Sam we ran into some flooring roadblocks – mainly we needed flooring faster than we could get it ordered and installed. Coyle Carpet One met and surpassed this challenge. They found us a beautiful carpet in their large warehouse and had it expertly installed before Sam left the hospital for home. They also donated the carpet in Sam’s room and our dining room at the 100% level without being asked. We are truly grateful to them for their kindness.

Ennis Appliance has provided appliances and services to Mid-Missouri for many years. Forecast Lighting
We are thrilled that some of our home’s glow has been donated by Forecast lighting. The clean lines and beautiful designs will command attention from the moment our many guests walk through our doors. The people at Forecast lighting have been so easy to work with and signed onto our project in a heartbeat. I think this speaks volumes to the type of company they run. Their breakthrough concepts will light our paths for years to come.
Fred Kinateder Masonry
The exterior masonry work on the home has been donated 100% by Fred Kinateder Masonry. We are so honored to have the highly skilled craftspeople of Fred Kinateder Masonry working on our home because we know their work is unparalleled. From famous baseball parks to exquisite churches, the Kinateder team has been beautifying Southeastern Wisconsin for the past 18 years. Our home may not be on the same grand scale project as their Miller Park project, but the importance Fred Kinateder Masonry has given it speaks volumes of this dedicated family owned and operated company.
Hallman Lindsay
Hallman Lindsay has provided Wisconsin with quality paints and services for decades. Based out of Sun Prairie, WI, Hallman Lindsay offers a wide variety of products that do not have the environmental impact of most paints. We are thrilled that this local manufacturer donated interior low and no VOC paints for our home. This paint will help us create the air quality needed to support a healthy healing family.
Halquist Stone
We are so grateful that Halquist Stone has offered us a deep discount on their beautiful stone. Their stone will beautiful combine the landscape and home design into a cohesive whole.
Intermatic
In the new home Sam will enjoy the ease and piece of mind offered by the InTouch system donated and produced by Intermatic. The system will provide Sam with a convenient remote for operating devices that are controlled through switches, dimmers and receptacles in the InTouch wireless network. The InTouch system can also be programmed so that lights will turn on and off automatically, consistent with sunrise and sunset. The system’s PC software will also allow Sam to set time of day controls throughout the homes and work the lights from his computer. This is one of the high tech items that will give Sam more control over processes that were once out of reach.
Kohler
Kohler was really the first sponsor of the home. To be a part of their long history of corporate giving is truly an honor. Kohler donated 100% of all of the toilets, toilet seats and faucets seen throughout the house. All of the faucets donated by Kohler are ADA approved and the toilets were selected to give easy of access to the whole Russell family. We would like to thank all of the individuals at Kohler who were essential to the project’s success especially Meredith Bergersen. Meredith put in countless hours into helping us secure this generous gift from Kohler. We are so lucky to have these high quality Kohler products in our home and look forward to enjoying them for years to come.

We would like to thank the participants of Leadership Sun Prairie for refreshing our current home with new paint and TLC. This hardworking crew, made up of area business owners and representatives, helped us finish unfinished projects throughout our home. LG Electronics
LG Electronics donated the beautiful wild cherry red LG TROMM Front Load SteamWasher and SteamDryer with coordinating drawer pedestals. The front loading washer and dryer will give Sam the freedom to do his own laundry. The controls are located on the front of the machines, making them easy to reach from a wheelchair. The pedestal drawers raise the washer and dryer to an accessible height for easy loading and unloading. LG Electronics’ willingness to help our family was incredible – it speaks volumes of the company they are. LG Electronics gives back to many through their various programs. Their generosity and superior products are known throughout the industry.
McKay Nursery
McKay Nursery has served the landscaping needs of the Midwest since 1897. We are so fortunate that the exterior expression of our home will be designed by a leading McKay landscape designer. All of the discounted plants and trees from Mckay are grown in South Central Wisconsin. We know that these plants will flourish at our home because they a grown right down the road! Thanks to Keith Rudolph at McKay, our front yard will be the welcome mat to our new home.

Matt Ohmen, owner of MPO Granite, has so graciously donated his skill and labor to install our counter tops. Matt offered this service to us on his own accord. It was so nice to receive that donation phone call and not have to put any effort into finding a donation on our own. These items are not only pieces of art, but will offer Sam and I a dual vanity that will work for both of our needs. We are so happy that they are working with Stick Man Productions to get our custom cabinetry to the house hundreds of miles away. They are providing the funding to have the cabinetry delivered and installed from Columbia, MO to our new house in Wisconsin. This really is not surprising because Walt’s Bicycle and Wilderness Co. has been giving back to others for decades. The company and their employees volunteer many hours of service and knowledge to the mid-missouri area. We miss them as our bike shop, but know that we are always welcome at Walts!
